An animated illustration. On the left, a small scattered group of dim stars stands alone. On the right, a bright dense lattice of stars. A bridge of light draws itself star by star across the gap between them, and once it is complete, points of light travel in both directions. With every arrival on the left, another of its stars lights up and joins the constellation, until the two sides shine equally.

一个星,一座桥

The bridge to AI for the businesses it left behind.

Small businesses are not waiting for AI to scale. They are building it now. We help them do it.

Built for owners, not procurement departments United Kingdom

Why we exist

No owner left behind.

We believe AI should not be the privilege of companies with procurement budgets and CTO departments. A shop owner, a freelancer, a small consultancy, any business with ambition, should be able to adopt the tools that sharpen their decisions, automate the work that does not matter, and free up time for what only people can do.

So we connect the businesses technology forgot with the data and tools the giants already use. A retailer, a workshop, a clinic, a small agency, a restaurant. Different trades, the same problem: the numbers that would sharpen every decision sit scattered across suppliers, spreadsheets and memory, and nobody has the time to pull them together.

A bridge of stars gets built across an impossible distance so two worlds can finally meet. That is the work.

No owner left behind

The tools that sharpen a decision, cut a cost or save an hour should not arrive with a five figure implementation fee attached. We build for the person running the business and the front desk at the same time.

Built to be profitable

We design for lean, sustainable growth rather than growth bought with someone else's money. If the unit economics do not work at ten customers, they will not work at ten thousand.

Data is power

Every cost you pay, every price you charge and every margin in between, in one view, moving as the business moves. Most owners have never seen all three at once. Once you do, pricing stops being a guess and every decision after it gets easier.

Why now, why this

The gap is not a technology problem. It is a design problem.

Almost none of the AI tooling built in the last three years was designed, priced or supported for a business with fewer than ten staff. That is a choice the industry made, and it is one we are unmaking.

The gap

Small and medium businesses carry a very large share of employment and output worldwide. The share of AI tooling built for them is nowhere near proportionate. They are not holding back out of scepticism. They hold back because nothing on the shelf was made for their budget, their systems or their day.

The cost of waiting

Every quarter without adoption is opportunity cost compounding quietly. Staff repeat work a machine should absorb. Decisions get made on memory rather than margin. Manual process bleeds a point or two off the bottom line and nobody sees where it went.

The opportunity

AI is not a future problem to be scheduled. It is a present advantage that compounds for whoever picks it up first. Of six businesses competing for the same customers, the one that knows its true margin on every line is playing a different game to the other five.

What we do

We meet a business where it actually is.

We find the highest impact use of AI for your world, then walk it through adoption, training and integration. We are not a software vendor selling you a licence and wishing you luck.

  1. Assessment

We work out where AI creates real value in your business, and where it would just be expensive theatre. We talk in the numbers you already run on: margin, utilisation, stock, cash. Not model architectures.

  2. Guidance

We navigate the tooling landscape so you do not have to. Most of it will not suit you. Our job is to say so plainly and put the effort into the small number of things that will.

  3. Integration

We put it into the workflow you already run, in the language your staff already use. Software that gets abandoned in week three has cost you more than it saved.

  4. Support

We stay with you as the business learns and grows. We iterate on what measurably works rather than what sounds impressive in a deck.

Who is building this

Built by people who get it.

Starbridge was founded by a group with an unusual combination of data expertise, commercial credibility and operating experience. This is not anybody's first venture. It is a set of experienced builders who saw a gap and decided to fill it.

Ming

Co-founder, Global Data and Regulatory Commercial Head

Has spent years connecting data to decisions, and saw business owners drowning in information but starved of insight. Came to Starbridge to prove that a small business can own the intelligence the giants have, and use it to outcompete them.

Insight without execution is philosophy. We build tools that turn data into decisions.

Sunyung

Co-founder, Asia Alternatives and Institutional Sales Head

Has built bridges between capital and opportunity across institutional markets. Joined Starbridge to build a different kind of bridge, one that connects small businesses to systems they have been locked out of.

Scale should never require size.

Johnny

Co-founder, Local Market Practitioner

Lives in the market we are changing. Brings the trusted relationships and the operating scars that only come from running a small business yourself. He is not theorising about these problems, he has had them.

Technology should make the owner's life easier, not more complicated.

William

Co-founder, Commercial Finance Lead

Understands how money moves through a small business and exactly where it gets stuck. Disciplined about unit economics, which is why Starbridge is designed to stand on its own revenue rather than on a runway.

Profitability is not a nice to have. It is how you know you solved a real problem.

Peter

Co-founder, Compliance and Governance Lead

Brings the governance and regulatory grounding that lets a small business trust us with its data. Holds Starbridge to the operating rigour of a regulated institution even though we serve the underserved.

Small businesses deserve serious compliance without serious complexity.

Mike

Co-founder, Chief AI and Data Science

Came to Starbridge because research on its own has never fixed anything for anyone. Wanted to build AI that works in the real world for the people who need it most, using genuine capability rather than automation with a new label.

AI should amplify human judgement, not replace it.

Richard

Co-founder, Technology Leadership

Has built and led AI products before, and knows the difference between what ships and what demos. Joined to build something durable: technology that solves a real problem, serves real customers and earns real revenue.

The best technology is invisible. It just works.

Questions we hear

The ones that actually get asked.

Do I need to hire a data scientist?

No. You do not need to understand AI to use it. Hiding the complexity is our job. You get the insight and the recommendation, not the algorithm. If we have done this properly you will forget the AI is there at all.

Will this actually work for a business my size?

We built it specifically for your size. We started with businesses that felt too small to matter and too big to ignore, and every feature has been tested against real constraints. This is not enterprise software with the price tag filed down.

What if it does not work out?

We do not believe in long lock-ins. If it has not proved its value in the first couple of months we want to know why, and then we let you go cleanly. We would rather lose a customer who did not benefit than keep one who stayed out of inertia.

How long before I see a return?

Most businesses find one concrete saving in the first month, usually a supplier overcharge, a margin leak or an hour that stops disappearing. A fuller return tends to show over the following couple of months. We measure it with you rather than asking you to take it on trust.

A Story of Belonging
小鸟天堂

In Guangdong there is a place called Bird Paradise. A single seed became a canopy wide enough to shelter thousands. One tree, from a distance, looks like a forest.

Starbridge is that seed. Planted now, grown for whoever comes next. One family, one story, and no ceiling on where it reaches.
